Good evening,
We hope you've had a great weekend.
I just wanted to share a little of what's on in store over the next few months. We still have some fabulous classes coming up and I don't want you to miss out.
Karyn from Baby Lock Australia joins us in store this week - Tuesday in Lindfield and Thursday in Sylvania.
She will be running through lots of different feet and techniques and anyone who attends one of her classes always learns an enormous amount about what their machine can do.

Bookings are essential. Bring your own machine and sew along with Karyn. Specials will apply on the day. Part of the class fee will be credited against purchases on the day.
Ian is teaching you how to maintain your modern BERNINA machine on Wednesday in Lindfield. If you want to be able to treat your machine which as much love and respect as you can come and learn from him. We plan to run this class for other brands and older machines in coming periods.
We are joining the Brother made for Embroidery Celebrations. We are going to learn about some new machines during a Dealer call on Monday and hope to share that information with you at the event. We are planning to run through machine embroidery basics and explain what it is and the ways to use it. We will be demonstrating the introductory M380D combined sewing and embroidery machine. We will also introduce you to the Artspira software / app.

The wonderful Karen John is back to teach you some incredible hand embroidery stitches and a little English paper piecing. The Pods quilt can be personalised into the layout that you want based on number of blocks and sashing and borders. Every time I look at it, I see more incredible details.

For those of you who had purchased BERNINA machines from us, or others, in recent periods this is to let you know we have Deborah Louie - a BERNINA "friend" / Ambassador - coming to do a couple of classes in both stores. The links are below. Deb has an enormous wealth of BERNINA knowledge and her classes always inspire. She plans to retire in the next 6 months and has a very busy schedule so these are likely to be some of her last classes.
The links should give you most of the info you need along with the outlines attached. If you have any questions please ask. All brands are welcome to the classes. The only exception being the Learn your Bernina class.
There are also very occasional positions available in Deb's monthly classes on the 4th Wednesday and Saturday of the month. If you would like to be waitlisted for them, please ask.
If you want a little guidance quilting your quilts, you can join Vicky and she will teach you any of the following
free motion basics
ruler work quilting basics
guidance quilting your own quilt
Join her in Lindfield or Sylvania on one or both of these days
Jeepers, Creepers, Where did you get those sneakers !!!!!
We are excited to partner with "Olly and Elena – Handmade with Love" to bring you a fresh, creative workshop — the 2-Day Sneakers-Made-By-Me class. This one-of-a-kind workshop blends quilting, sewing, and fashion, allowing participants to create their own pair of wearable art sneakers using fabrics and trims of their choice.

If you would like to learn patchwork or hand stitching Janne can teach you on the first Tuesday of the month. The next class is 2 Sept. Come and join this smaller sized and friendly class.
We have a few rare vacancies in Lorena Uriarte's 3rd Wednesday class. If you would like to do one of her projects or learn more about patchwork piecing, now is your chance.
There is lots more happening, but this is a glimpse of what is on offer.
Keep up to date using this link
See you soon
Regards
Bernadette, Ian, Crystal, Vicky, Sarah, Lauren, William and Ray
