Bernadette and Ian Hoy would like to welcome you to our online store. We have been in the patchwork sewing retail industry for over 18 years. Firstly, as proprietors of Pegs Pieces, a fabric and haberdashery shop in Kirrawee in the south of Sydney, Australia, then in our new location in Sylvania under our new branding My Sewing Supplies. In 2023 we decided to open a store in the northern Sydney suburb of Lindfield. 

 

Since 2009 we have proudly been selling Bernina Sewing machines and accessories, and over the years have added Baby Lock, Brother and Janome to the brands we stock and sell. In 2022 we made the decision to cease our Janome dealership, but still continue to support customers with that brand machine in all aspects of lessons, accessories and servicing. 

 

Apart from machines and accessories you will find on our site a selection of the many fabrics we sell, along with a range of haberdashery to help you achieve your sewing and crafting goals. Whilst nothing will compete with coming into the store to see the full range we hope to showcase here a selection of what we offer. We also offer a full program of sewing classes details of which can be found on this site. We are very pleased to be associated with award winning teachers and endeavour to bring a variety of skills and talents to our customers to educate and inspire them.

In 2018 we added long arm quilting to our services. We offer both edge to edge and custom quilting services.
