Rossis Bag kits - Vegan Leather
These kits contain the fabrics and instructions to make the bags. You need to add threads. They are really soft and really lightweight. Stock is limited and the yellow is still to come. You can pre order the yellow so you don't miss out.

New Overlocker tail threading tool - Lil' Hookey
These sold out at Academy and I placed some on back order today. They are fabulous for threading those pesky overlocker thread tails in under your stitching. This gives a much cleaner finish to your work. They retail at $24 and there are 2 hooks per pack.
If you would like one please place your order. A 50% deposit is required at the time of ordering.

A decision not taken lightly - Janome
After 12 years of selling Janome sewing machines and overlockers we have made the decision to end our dealership. This is not an easy decision, but a necessary one for the long term future of our business. The compulsory marketing costs and internet dealer sales mean it is not sustainable for our business. The closure of the dealership has been on friendly terms.
So, what does all this mean for you? For our existing Janome customers we will do our best to continue to support you with our knowledge and resources. We still have a decent range of accessories and these will be 15% off until depleted. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to order in any more product from Janome, but we will do our best to access alternatives if we can.
For those who have purchased machines recently, we have protocols in place with Janome that any warranty matters will be dealt with.
For our servicing, we will be able to continue to service the majority of Janome machines, though there may be occasion where parts are not available if required, we hope this will be rare. For the most common required parts we have a good stock and there are other after market suppliers with whom we can obtain them.
For the future. We are very excited to now be able to focus on our core brands of Bernina, Brother, Bernette and Baby Lock. We hope you grow to love them as much as we do.

A great way to try some of these machines would be to come to the Brother Bunting Challenge Day. In store 21 November at 10am. Come and celebrate Christmas and make some bunting. See below.
If you would like to test drive the PR 6 needle embroidery machine and were not able to come to the test drive day yesterday we will have the machine set up tomorrow morning (Saturday 12/11) and Monday afternoon (14/11). These are Brother's machines and will be returned Monday evening.
In Store
I know Christmas is fast approaching. November is largely the last month for classes this year. There will be one or 2 in December but we realise everyone is a bit busy preparing for Christmas.
Monday 21 November we will be kickstarting the festive season sewing and quilting style with the Brother big bunting challenge. Join us in store and give your making mojo a boost as you chat and sew fabulous bunting flags – with cheery elves on deck to assist. Choose from any of the sewing, quilting, embroidery or ScanNCut ideas we’ve put together to get you started, or use the template to create your own design. Stitch together as many flags as you want to, everyone that contributes a flag to their store’s bunting challenge will take home a gift from Brother. Make a flag for you and a flag for our bunting. Kits will be provided so we do ask you to book and tell us which machine you are bring or would like to try if you don't own one and are looking to purchase.
We are currently preparing the class list for 2023 there will be lots of new classes and we are hoping to see you and your friends back in classes instore.

We are starting to do private group classes. If you and your friends would prefer a workshop that was just for you please contact us. We can catch to you about the skills you would like, see if we can assist you and arrange a date that works for us both. Ideal class size for these is 6-8 people.
