Express yourself - Sneaker Workshop

This is super cool and we would love you to join us !!

We are excited to partner with "Olly and Elena – Handmade with Love" to bring you a fresh, creative workshop — the 2-Day Sneakers-Made-By-Me class.

This one-of-a-kind workshop blends quilting, sewing, and fashion, allowing participants to create their own pair of wearable art sneakers using fabrics and trims of their choice.

Saturday and Sunday 

27 and 28 September 

9:30am–3:00pm each day

This class is held at our Lindfield Store 321 Pacific Highway Lindfield NSW 2070

If you can't get to Lindfield and would like to join this class in Sylvania we are taking expressions of interest for that location.

Each participant will:

👟 Make their own quilted sneakers with guided instruction over two days

🎨 Personalise every detail – fabric, colour, style, and embellishments

📦 Take home their creation in a custom presentation shoe box or wear them home to show them off.

What’s Included:

• Expert tuition

• All tools and components: pre-punched soles, ergonomic insoles, pattern pieces, waxed thread, thimble, saddlers’ needle and lock stitch awl.

• A full-colour instruction booklet

• Presentation box and “Sneakers-Made-By-Me” label.

• Morning and afternoon tea

• Fun times with new friends

Participants will have the opportunity to buy a variety of coloured eyelets and shoelaces on the day.

Participants will BYO lunch (mini fridge available) or take advantage of local cafes within easy walking distance. 

Requirements 

- Sewing machine

- Walking foot

- Fat 1/4 for lining

- Fat 1/4 for outer

- Fat 1/4 if you want to bind

- ByAnnie Soft and Stable or Bag Foam (this is a specific product and available in store)

- Thread to match

We are happy to guide you on the requirements. We are also happy to kit up the fabrics and foam to your specifications.
