This is a monthly class where we do small projects in order to gain new skills on our sewing machines. It is open to Bernina, Bernette, Brother, Juki and Janome Brands. For other brands please ask.
You will need to purchase a kit and possibly a specialty machine foot in order to make the project and attend the class. Project / feet and skills vary from month to month. We all do the same project.
The kit is included in this fee. This fee includes 3 tuition fees with the kit.
The project is shown in the finished item photo. I have also shown works in progess from the first Lindfield class. We will be using this as our inspiration to make a wall hanging approx 30/35cm wide by 50/55cm high. The fabric and thread photo shows our base kit. We will be working on a white background.
If you cannot make one of the classes let me know and I can set you up with homework to finish the project. Contact me so that we can discuss this.

Please bring
- your sewing machine and its accessories
- threads to match kit. I will have thread and ask that you bring 8 empty bobbins so that I can put thread on them. This will be used on top and the bobbin. If you have threads similar to the attached please bring them along, that will save time winding bobbins.
- Would you also bring black thread and a black bobbin.
- You can use white bobbinfil on the bobbin if you want.
- edge / top stitch foot if you own one
- open toe embroidery foot if you own one
- If you have a 4mm twin needle, bring that.
- a walking foot
- a free motion foot if you own one
- general sewing supplies, pins, clips, scissors, marking pen etc
