If you would like to know more about free motion quilting and gain some new skills then this is the class for you. Learn the basic shapes, movements and patterns
 
Learn the basics of quilting with rulers and the ruler foot. What rulers are and how to use them with your machine. You will explore your machine settings.
 
Please bring plain quilt sandwiches to practice on (about fat 1/4 size) and your quilts you would like to quilt and get guidance and ideas on.
 
Sewing machine, foot controller and power cord. 
New sharp size 90 sewing machine needles.
Free motion foot, ruler work quilting foot, walking foot. 
General sewing supplies.
Temporary fabric markers.
Any templates or rulers you have. 
50 weight cotton threads to match.
 
If you do not have any of the above we do sell them in store.
 
We will have some pre-basted kits/panels available in class that are designed to help you with your ongoing practice. These will be available for purchase on the day, or prior if requested.
