10am - 3pm each day
 
In this modern embroidery class, we create an artwork made with a combination of fibres.
 
Sewn by hand, it is a combination of stitches, threads, laces, embellishments and fabrics. The final piece can be presented in a hoop or frame or even be made into another item such as a bag or cushion.
 
Transform both new and upcycled items, into your own keepsake.
 
Join us as we make times for ourselves, switch off from the fast fast lives we lead and celebrate our creativeness. Slow stitching gives us a chance to sit quietly, for a while, with like-minded sewing friends.
 
Price includes Starter kit comprising (Choice of colour ways)
- An 10 inch wooden hoop
- Fabric background – monk cloth
- Fabric applique flower
- Laces / trims
- Threads – 4 x Pearle 8 plain and variegated

Please bring the following requirements
- 2 x Bohin 22 chenille needles
- Small “4 inch” scissors straight or curved
Extra bits that would work with your colourway
- Wools / Yarns
- Assorted beads (and a beading needle if you wish to use beads)
- Assorted embellishments (doilies, laces, trims)
- Tapestry threads
- 6 stranded embroidery threads
- Additional Pearle 5 and 8 threads, if desired
