I know we've been quiet lately. There has been so much on and we are still playing catch up from the move.. I'm trying to sneak a quiet 30 mins to give you all an update. Let's see how far I get. If I can't load it all into that time, then I'll give you an update to date :)
Cast your mind back in history....we moved our business to Sylvania at Easter this year. Scared and excited we pushed ahead and now 5 months on (yes I know 5 months??) here we are. While we miss the other shop owners from Kirrawee we consider the move a success both short term and long term. Our new home is bright and fresh and it feels like we've always been there. We are meeting new friends, customers and business owners and are more than happy. Each day we unpack more boxes LOL.
We are getting customers in from both the St George area, as well at the Sutherland Shire to our new fabric and sewing machine store. We are even getting new people into our sewing classes.
We are proudly promoting ourselves as Sutherland Shire's sewing machine store as well as St George's sewing machine store. As you know its difficult to find businesses like our around anymore. We are trying to ensure we fulfil your needs.
The second half of this year is going to bring a lot of new machines and we are doing some great specials to go along with the releases. I'll work brand by brand.
We have just been to the Janome launch of the Continental M7 quilting machine and the 550E embroidery only machine. Wow, wow, wow
I'll start with the M7. It is now the largest throat space on any domestic machine in the Australian marketplace. From centre needle position it is 13.5 inches. If you move your needle to the left you have even more space. It even comes with the extension table as standard.. That gives you an enormous area for stabilising and supporting your work.
